Site surveys
A survey establishes what is actually installed, what condition it is in, and where the risks sit. It is the practical starting point for a refurbishment, an upgrade, or a review following a change in the population or an incident.
Our surveyors are subject experts drawn from clinical and engineering backgrounds, with product knowledge covering a wide range of ligature resistant products.
Line of sight surveys
Observation is a critical part of managing risk, and blind spots undermine it. A line of sight survey identifies where visibility is compromised across corridors, corners, association areas and other high risk locations, and recommends where mirrors or layout changes would improve it.
Unlike CCTV, dome mirrors provide instant on-location observation, filling gaps that cameras cannot cover, with full dome mirrors providing 360 degree visibility. Many of the mirrors in our range are developed to comply with UK Home Office, London Metropolitan Police and Prison Service requirements.
Washroom and Doc M surveys
Washrooms carry a concentration of fixtures, fittings and potential ligature points in a small area. We survey sanitary ware, grab rails, shower fittings, IPS panels, drain covers, vents and washroom accessories, and report on condition, suitability and compatibility.
