An anti-ligature coat hook that holds the weight of clothing or a towel but bends and releases when extra force is applied, in any direction. Releases at a maximum 10kg load and has been tested by BRE under its Informed Choices programme.

This anti-ligature hook holds the weight of an item of clothing or a towel, but when an extra force is applied it releases. The hook does not break but bends, forcing the ligature to slide off. Releases in all directions, hence it can be placed close to doors etc.
